My Morning Skincare Routine

My morning routine is pretty simple as time is a limited resource in the a.m. Here are the products I have been using for the past six months during the late fall and winter seasons.

I basically have three steps. Cleanse, tone, and hydrate. To cleanse, I use the Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk. It's very gentle, perfect for morning when your skin is already free from make-up. If you saw my most recent empties post, you will see I ran out of this. So currently, I am using a sample of the Chantecaille Flower-Infused Cleansing Milk, a very similar product. If you have any cleansing milk recommendations, feel free to leave them in the comments below! I would love to check them out. If my skin is feeling a bit more dull, then I will use the Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser. I would say I use this only once every other week or once a week. It's a manual exfoliate with sugar but super gentle. The sweet citrus smell really perks me up in the morning. Next, I use the Michael Todd Blue Green Algae Toner. I think toners are my favourite skincare step. I put some of this on a cotton pad and apply it to my face. I like how it smells and that it's antibacterial. After that dries, I apply my facial moisturizer which is either the Michael Todd Citrus Cream Moisturizer or the Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Facial Moisturizer. Both are very hydrating for my winter skin while easily absorbing for even make-up application. After that sinks in, I get started with my foundation routine!

Next week, I will post my evening skincare routine, which has a lot more products....so stay tuned!

What's your morning routine?
