18K Gold Nails

Ever since I tested out the 18K gold top coat at Sephora, I was in love. Unfortunately, I did not share that feeling for the thirty dollar price tag. It seems now that most major nail polish brands carry a real gold top coat, and I was happy to see that Zoya came out with one last Fall, Zoya Gilty. Even happier that I grabbed a flash promo that made Zoya Gilty free. It has definitely become one of my favourite polishes! Here are some of the colour combinations I have done so far.

Review | boscia be brilliant set

As I was packing for the holidays to head back to my hometown, I stocked up on mini's of my favourite products. I had just run out of my sample of the boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel that I received in a Birchbox and knew I had to find another one to replace it. boscia has quickly become my favourite skincare brand! I received a sample of their BB Cream & the Cleansing Gel in a Birchbox, and ever since I have been hooked. I love their philosophy of combining the power of nature and science. I also find the sulfate, paraben, and preservative free formulas to be gentle on my sensitive skin.

Apartment Therapy's January Cure

I love Apartment Therapy as a resource for organization, decoration, and inspiration for small space living. Though my apartment in Brooklyn is definitely tiny, it's a huge reflection on my personal self. So I decided to participate in the January Cure to help me focus on my living space which can be taken for granted in the day-to-day shuffle. New Year's Day | 2013

It's a brand new year! I can't believe that it is 2013 already. I had a great 2012 & have a good feeling that 2013 is going to be amazing as well (though I am not in love with the number.) And with this new year comes a new calendar. I love my technology and am completely dependent on my iPhone, but there is something about a physical planner that I can't give up. Birchbox | December 2012

 I received my Birchbox super early this month. It was a nice, unexpected surprise after a long day of classes! This month is holiday themed, of course, and I am obsessed with the packaging! Birchbox | November 2012

Finally, I am getting around to posting my Birchbox for this month (& just posting in general.) I have had the most chaotic month! Midterms, conferences, papers, & weekends away from home have all prevented me from blogging & well just about doing anything. On the plus side, because I am posting this so late, I was able to test out just about every product. The theme of this month's box was "give."

Steel Blue Gradient

I did this glitter gradient about a week ago (before my brittle nail disaster.) You have probably noticed I love doing gradients. I just think they are so beautiful & so easy! I had been doing bright ones all summer and wanted a change of pace by using some of my new fall polishes I ordered from Zoya. To create this look I used Zoya Natty & Zoya Fei Fei.
