Review | boscia be brilliant set

As I was packing for the holidays to head back to my hometown, I stocked up on mini's of my favourite products. I had just run out of my sample of the boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel that I received in a Birchbox and knew I had to find another one to replace it. boscia has quickly become my favourite skincare brand! I received a sample of their BB Cream & the Cleansing Gel in a Birchbox, and ever since I have been hooked. I love their philosophy of combining the power of nature and science. I also find the sulfate, paraben, and preservative free formulas to be gentle on my sensitive skin.

I went to Sephora hoping to find a smaller size of the Cleansing Gel or at least buy the full size to refill my sample. Even better than what I was expecting was this kit of four mini products and at only $10, it was a complete steal.

The be brilliant Set comes with:
  • Luminizing Black Mask
  • Oil-Free Nightly Hydration
  • Purifying Cleansing Gel
  • Green Tea Blotting Linens

I am absolutely in love with each of these products. The Purifying Cleansing Gel is a perfect, gentle cleanser that completely cleans your skin without over-drying. The Luminizing Black Mask is, as it says, completely black. It's a peel off mask and actually peels off. It is pretty intense but I still didn't have any problems with irritation. The Nightly Hydration gel is a light-weight moisturizer that hydrates without looking oily. The Green Tea Blotting Linens are great for in your purse and are large and strong enough for your whole face and don't mess up your make-up. I would say this set is more for people with oily or combination skin as the products are geared towards shine-control and are not overly moisturizing. This set will last approximately two weeks. I got two uses out of the mask, using it once a week, and I still have quite a bit of the other products left.

Overall, I am so happy I found this set. If you haven't tried any boscia products I highly recommend picking up this kit. It's a great price for being able to try more expensive products. I wish more brands would feature little $10 boxes! One of my resolutions this year is to be more on top of my skincare and other beauty products. No sulfates, parabens, animal testing, etc. You can find boscia products at Sephora, Boscia, and at Birchbox.

Do you have any favourite skincare brands?
