Favourites | October Beauty 2014

Well then, hellogoodbye to October. It seems fall is still here though so all is well. It's crazy to think the holidays are rapidly approaching. I have to admit I am super excited, but I definitely can wait. This year needs to slow down. I was just joking to Preston that old movies used to quote 2015 as the year for flying cars and such. Anywayyy back to the beauty. Not too many new favourites this month as I am quite enjoying my routine.

The OGX Brazilian Keratin Therapy Flat Iron Spray has been featured on this blog quite a few times. It's my favourite heat protectant and as fall rolls around, I try to do a bit more with my hair, which really just means straighten it. Macadamia Healing Oil Spray was a sample in my September BB. It smells amazing and makes my hair feel and look shiny without being greasy. For nails, I have been loving Zoya Sansa and Zoya Margo. The Zoya fall collections are always on point. A super score of the month for me was the Too Faced Bonjour Soleil Bronzer palette. I found this limited edition palette at Nordstrom Rack for a steal. It comes with Chocolate Soleil, Sun Bunny, and Snow Bunny. I love Chocolate Soleil as a contour and Snow Bunny has become my new favourite highlight. I haven't tried Sun Bunny yet as I tend to only use bronzer for contouring. The brush in this set is really great too. Even though this is marketed for summer, it is definitely going to help give me a glow this fall and winter. Another Birchbox discovery was the Ellovi Butter Vanilla. I have been using it as a lip balm at night. I love that its natural, light vanilla scent. Finally, another repeat, The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter. I just finished my first tub, and my friend sent me another one in perfect time. Though I love the stuff, she wasn't a fan-so just a warning it might not work for you even though I am always blabbing on about it.

And that's about it! What were some of your favourites this month?

  1. Really nice favorites! The bronzing palette looks so good, and I'm literally seeing the Camomile Cleansing Butter everywhere and keep hearing such awesome things about it so I'm always happy to see more people loving it. :)
