FOTD | Wet n Wild Smoke & Melrose

It seems I can't resist a Wet n Wild release. Nor can I resist rose-toned shadows. You would think the Naked 3 palette would have me set. Smoke & Melrose is a limited edition 5-pan eyeshadow palette from my favourite drugstore brand, Wet n Wild.

This look is such a go-to for me, especially in fall. For the eyes, I started with Too Faced Shadow Insurance and a base of elf Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Soiree (a post coming on this soon!). I then used the eyelid shade from Smoke & Melrose on the first half of my lid and the definer shade on the second half. Browbone in the crease and a bit of the base shade in the inner corner. The only shade I didn't use yet is the crease shade. Though substitute that with the eyelid shade and you would have a pretty autumnal look-like changing leaves. I did borrow Strange from Naked 3 for an under the brow highlight.

Other Products Used...
elf Liquid Liner and WnW Panther
UD 24/7 Liner in Zero & UD 24/7 Liner in Whiskey
WnW MegaLength Mascara
tarte Brow Pencil
Wet n Wild Coverall Foundation
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
WnW limited edition lipstick in Rose to Fame (yup, a post coming on that too.)
Physician's Formula NudeWear Powder
Nars Sin
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
Lots of Wet n Wild products in this lineup!

If you just love rosy shades or maybe you don't want to splurge on Naked 3, then I highly recommend this little palette. It's said that Melrose at Night, another WnW LE 5-pan palette, plus this one basically has all the dupes for Naked 3. I would say it's pretty close, but the definer shade in this one is a lot more burgundy than any of the shades in Naked 3.

Have you picked up any of the WnW LE eyeshadow palettes?
