Favourites | April Beauty

I can't believe it's the last day of April! This year is flying by. As per usual, here are some beauty products that I have been loving this past month. Many of these will come as no surprise as I have mentioned them in posts throughout the blog-I linked all the posts in case any of these products strike your fancy.

I have been using the Burt's Bees Citrus & Ginger Body Wash for awhile now but have yet to mention it in a favourites. Probably because when things are in the shower, I am less likely to remember to pull them out...It's a refreshing citrus scent and foams well without sulfates. I love using it after a workout. After the shower, I have been loving my Birchbox sample of the BeeKind Body Lotion. Another refreshing citrus scent. This lotion is more of a gel-like consistency making it absorb super quickly. It feels like it's creating a barrier to keep your skin hydrated. I have a whole post dedicated to these Liz Earle products, the Gentle Exfoliator, Instant Boost Skin Tonic, and Cleanse & Polish, so I won't go into too much detail- but they are amazing. I have been switching it up to more spring/summer scent with Harvey Prince Hello, a flowery citrus fragrance.  For nails, I have again been going with the spring theme and loving Illamasqua's Speckled. For lippies, I have an old and a new, the EOS Passionfruit Lipbalm has become a favourite again and TopShop Macaroon has been on my lips every weekend. It's the perfect bright coral (see full post here).

Just yesterday, I shared my thoughts on the Sonia Kashuk Perfecting Luminous Foundation, and it made favourite status. Another new product is the Elf Smudge Pots and this month I have been wearing Cruisin' Chic. It's such a gorgeous taupe and has an amazing formula, especially for two dollars! I reviewed quite a few of the shades here. Another BB sample- Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel. I never thought I would be a brow girl, but I quite like putting this on in the morning. It makes me feel secure that they will stay in place all day. Finally, the Physician's Formula NudeWear Concealer is a new step in my morning routine as it highlights and conceals without feeling heavy. And it has super adorable packaging. I tested it out in this post here.

What were your favourites this month?
