Urban Decay Naked 3

I am very excited to share some photos & thoughts on the newest in the line-up of Urban Decay's Naked palettes, Naked 3. Naked 3 features twelve eyeshadows, all new and all rose-toned. I was super excited about this palette as I am crushing hard on the trendy rose gold. And I know I am not the only one!

Along with the palette comes a sample pack of four different eyeshadow primers. I love the original Primer Potion, so I am excited to have an extra week plus some other variations to try (Sin, Eden, Anti-aging). The palette also comes with a dual ended eyeshadow brush. I know a lot of people like the UD brushes, I tend to not use them as I find double sided brushes hard to store. I do like that it is shaped differently from the brush that came with Naked 2. So quite a few bonuses!

The twelve shadows are all new releases and fall under a  rose-toned theme. Naked 1 was warmer with bronze shades, Naked 2 cool with taupes, and Naked Basics a half-sized palette featuring mattes and a highlight.

Strange- A matte slightly pink creme.
Dust- A light rose with a glitter foil finish.
Burnout- A rose champagne satin.
Limit- A dusty rose matte.
Buzz- A medium plummy rose shimmer.
Trick- A rose-copper shimmer.

Nooner-A matte rosey brown.
Liar-A rose-brown/taupe metallic.
Factory- A rosey chocolate metallic.
Mugshot- Taupe metallic.
Darkside- A plummy rose gray satin.
Blackheart- A deep plum black with red glitters.

And here are swatches in order of the palette. All the shades applied smoothly and highly pigmented. Strange is hard to see as it's just a bit lighter than my skin tone. Some reviews have mentioned Dust being a difficult texture, and I have to say I don't have too much of a trouble with it. It's similar to UD's other more glitter packed shades. There isn't a shade I am disappointed in. This palette will definitely become a daily in my make-up routine.

Do you have the Naked 3 palette? What are your thoughts? Did you purchase or pass?
