Emerald Eyes

I love fall make-up. You can go a little darker and wear a little more without being afraid it will melt off your face. I also love the colour scheme of fall- rich browns, metallic taupes, deep jewel-tones. Today's post is a make-up look featuring one of my favourite colours (not to mention the colour of the year), Emerald (which is also my sister's name. Hi Emerald!)

I started off by using Pur Minerals CC Cream in Light (this is the first time I have used it; I am liking it so far). Next, I primed my eyes with Urban Decay's Primer Potion.  I used a mix of Sin and Missionary from the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume IV for my lid colour. I used the two matte shades in the Sleek i-Divine palette in Storm to define my crease. Then, I used Wet 'n Wild's eye liner in Green (a great drugstore bargain) on my lower lash line. I layered the emerald green shade in the Sleek Storm palette over the liner. For my inner corner highlight, I used Skimp from the Book of Shadows, and for my under the brow highlight, I used Foxy from Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. Next, I lined my eyes with a small wing using the Jordana Fabuliner and set that with Black Out from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. Then, I concealed under my eyes, set that with powder, and curled my lashes. For mascara, I used Tarte's Lights, Camera, Flashes for bold lashes. For my cheeks, I used Nars Orgasm and Laguna. I highlighted with Wet 'n Wild Reserve the Cabana. Finally for my lips, I used Julep's Tea for Two, a peachy nude with a hint of sparkle.

I have a few more ideas planned for fall make-up looks. I hope you enjoy them. It is so awkward to take pictures of yourself (and my hair is just ridiculous)!

Do you wear green eyeshadow? What make-up colours do you love using during fall?
