20 Random Facts About Me

Today is my 23rd Birthday! I can't believe it, sometimes I still feel 18... Anyway, I thought I would share twenty random facts about me, so you could get to know me a little better.

20 Facts About Me on My 23rd Birthday

(I wish I could have come up with 23, but it was really hard.)

1. I was born in California but never really did live there.

2. My birthday is today & my sister's is tomorrow. We always had joint birthdays.

3. I have known that I wanted to be a forensic psychologist when "I grew up" since 1st grade.

4. I became a vegetarian when I was in 4th grade (Apparently, I had very strong convictions as a child.)

5. I have two younger half brothers that live in Minnesota. I love them so, so much.

6. My favourite colour is green, especially when it has a hint of blue.

7. Van Gogh is my favourite artist.

8. I have been dating Preston since high school.
We even went to prom together.

9. I sleep with a stuffed animal named Wilhelm every night.
Preston gave him to me on my 17th birthday.

10. I have a tattoo of a seahorse holding and anchor. I got when I turned 18.

11. Red is my natural hair colour, but once I died it super dark brown.
It took forever to grow out.

12. I first cut my bangs in January 2010 (I did it myself...) and have been trimming them ever since.
Well, technically as a preschooler I was rocking the full fringe.

13. Though I went to a big time football university (Go Gators!) I have only ever been to one game....

14. I am a complete nerd & love school. 
I graduated with my Masters this May & am applying to Ph.D. programs.

15. I have a level 90 character in WoW (....and I have played Dungeons & Dragons....and Pathfinder.)

16. My favourite movie is Brick (by Rian Johnson, it's on Netflix!),
followed by Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind (also on Netflix, go watch!)

17.  I am completely addicted to TV- Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones....it goes on & on
(& some Real Housewives too...)

18. I adopted Rococo at a Humane Society two years ago, we were instant besties.
She was adopted before but returned when she got sick. She is healthy now & eats special food.

19. I had only been to NYC one time before I moved here (as a high school senior field trip).
And I had never been to Brooklyn.

20. My favourite Starbucks drink is a Soy Chai Latte with an espresso shot.
(I never order it as a Dirty Chai. It sounds....dirty.)
