All the way from the UK.....Sleek Make-up Haul

Some of my favourite beauty bloggers and vloggers are from the UK. Every time I read or watch a 'high-street' haul, I longingly wish to have access to these exclusive products. Luckily, there are several ways to order these drugstore deals (though, I wish I could take a trip to London and have a Boot's shopping spree!) Two of the main things I wanted to try were the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation and Sleek's colour cosmetics. This post is going to focus on the products I ordered from the Sleek website.
I ordered three palettes from Sleek : the Blush by 3 palette in the shade Lace, the Face Countor Kit in Light, and the i-Divine eye shadow palette in Storm. It was an amazing price and shipping to the US was less than $3. Pictures and swatches to follow & Spoiler Alert: They are all worth the hype.

Blush by 3
Lace

I definitely wanted to try out some of their blushes and figured the blush by 3 palette would be a good way to try a few out. This palette contains three blush shades, two matte and one shimmer. All are super pigmented and soft. Chantilly is a bold, matte, peachy orange. Guipure is a shimmery peachy-pink (think Nars Orgasm). Crochet is another bold matte shade in a reddish pink.

Crazy bright. I'll admit I haven't worn Chantilly or Crochet yet. NYC hasn't been having the most summery of weather, and these shades scream summer to me. I would apply these with a duo-fiber brush for a light application. Beautiful consistency and pigmentation.  This blush palette is available on the Sleek website and retails for $12.49.

Face Contour Kit
Light

This little palette was what I actually needed from this haul. I have been more interested in contouring, but it has been difficult to find the right shade and finish to look natural. This kit has many great reviews, so I thought I would try it out! The palette comes with a matte contouring shade and a shimmery highlight.

The colours both have great pigmentation while still looking natural. I apply the contour colour with the Real Techniques contour brush from the Core Collection and the highlight shade with the Real Techniques duo-fiber contour brush. I find using these products together make it very easy to give dimension to your face without looking like you tried. The only downside I have found is that they aren't the most long-wearing shades. By the time I get home at the end of the day, the effects of the contouring are about gone. The palette is compact enough to bring in your purse, as well as features a large mirror, so maybe I should just stop being lazy and reapply. The Face Contour Kit is available here and retails for $8.49. It also comes in Light, Medium, and Dark shades.

i-Divine
Storm

I hear so much about these eyeshadow palettes (and this shade in particular) that I had to order it, even though I definitely don't need any more eyeshadow. The palette comes with 12 shadows, three matte, 9 metallic. The consistency is amazing, super creamy and pigmented. This particular palette, Storm, has a great mix of neutrals and jewel tones.

The top photo shows the top row more true to colour while
the bottom photo shows the bottom row better.

This palette is truly gorgeous, and I am excited to utilize the darker jewel-tone shades. The finish is an amazing metallic, and the mattes are very good quality. These shades are long-wearing with a primer (I always use a primer, so I can't attest to use without one). An amazing palette for only $9.99, available here. I have already added several other shades to my wishlist (Showstopper and Oh So Special have caught my eye.)

Overall, I am so happy to have added these palettes to my collection! It can be difficult to decide to order make-up blind, so I hope this has helped if you were thinking of trying out this brand with only the option to order online. The price for quality is great, and I already have a wishlist going for some other colours and products! Though, it's great knowing I can order from their website with inexpensive shipping and relatively fast delivery....I still want that trip to London. :]
