Birchbox Limited Edition Box | Home Sweet Homespun

The holidays are approaching! I have decided to start Christmas shopping early this year, as we have quite a lot planned in the next few weeks, and I don't want to feel even more rushed than I already do! Birchbox has several options for limited edition boxes which are perfect gifts for the holidays. Last  year, I bought the Snow Day box which is one of my favourite BB purchases. The Home Sweet Homespun box is a very similar concept-lifestyle items with a touch of beauty included.

Birchbox is one of my favourite subscription sites. They just do such a good job at curating their boxes, whether it be monthly or these larger limited edition options. The box is gorgeous and would be the fastest, yet prettiest, present.

Box Breakdown

Askinosie Chocolate Single Origin Sipping Chocolate
Cowshed Lippy Cow Natural Lip Balm
Soak Handmaid Luxury Hand Creme in Fig
Makerskit Hanging Photo Clips Complete Project Kit

Meri Meri Sweet Treats Kit

I am excited to slip on these cute mint socks and get to DIYing and baking. Hand creme & lip balm are always needed beauty bits during the fall and winter. I have actually had the Milk Bar Cornflake cookie before. It was delicious, so I think it will be fun to make them. And maybe give some as friends wrapped using the cute treat tags.

The Snow Day box also included a packet of Askinosie chocolate powder, so I am happy to try this variety. Illume candles are another brand I have used before. I love their Balsam Fir scent, so this Noble Currant candle will be used quickly. It's a lovely winter scent.

I love DIY projects and am glad this was included in the box. The only negative I have is the suggested retail price. There is no way its actually "worth" that high as it's only the fewest of materials. I really liked the idea, suggested in a Birchbox video, to hang up holiday cards that you receive. I think I am going to spray paint the mini clothespins gold for a more holiday look. Mmm...can't wait to make these cookies.

As always I used a 20% off code, BB points, and picked up a sample pack, so I managed to get this  for free. But even at $40, I think it's a great value for a lovely gift. I can see many of my friends and family enjoying it. Plus, it's nice to be able to give someone a variety of things. If you want to join Birchbox, you can follow my link here

What do you think of this limited edition box?
