Favourites | November Beauty

Last week was a whirlwind, so last month's favs is a bit delayed. A few new things mixed with some definite repeats-hey, they are favourites for a reason.

The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil
Macadamia Healing Oil Spray
Conair Infiniti Pro 1 1/4 inch Curling Iron

After sharing my Holiday Guide and testing out the products, many have made favourites status. The Bite Beauty Best of Bite Set is the complete spectrum of lip colours I have been wanting to wear this month. Definitely a favourite and a great gift. Another awesome find was the Too Faced Perfect Black Waterproof Eyeliner from the 5 Star Favorites set. I like it even better than the UD liners. It's super black and lasts much longer for tightlining.

For fall and winter, I have been bumping up the brows with tarte's The Brow Architect and have really been digging the stronger look. For shadows, I have been sticking with my favourite Urban Decay Naked 3. I love Mugshot with a bit of a burgundy shadow in the outer corner for a colder weather look. I have also discovered my fall and winter scent-Atelier Cologne Santal Carmin. I am obsessed. I am not much of a perfume person-generally liking most scents, but this one I might have to get the bottle of. It's just so warm and cozy. The only blush I have worn for like three months straight has been Nars Sin. It's the perfect fall/winter blush, why wear anything else?

I have been loving all the Tatcha skincare items I have tried recently. Two that I have been using everyday are the Camellia Beauty Oil and the Moisture Rich Silk Cream. The oil is my night facial moisturizer, and the cream is for the day time. Both are so hydrating while staying light on the skin. And the packaging is so pretty.  My friend sent me The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil, and I have basically finished the whole bottle. I love it as a second cleanse to really remove make-up while keeping my skin soft. It's a very interesting gel-to-oil texture (as the name suggests).

Another repeat favourite that I didn't realize I had last month is the Macadamia Healing Oil Spray. In love with this stuff. I use it on damp hair and dry hair after styling. It smells great and leaves my hair looking alive and shiny. Finally, a new beauty tool-the Conair Infiniti Pro 1 1/4 inch Curling Iron. Can you believe this is my first curling iron? With my thick and wavy hair texture I just always brushed off curling, expecting it to be poof-inducing and not last more than 10 minutes anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by the results and now I am always doing it. I love the large curls it creates, and they actually last. This iron was a bargain at $20.

What were your favourites this past month?
