Birchbox | October 2014

For October, Preston & I were both BB subscribers. I wish I got some shots of his box, but timing, though not good for pictures, was perfect for him to bring some of the samples for his trip. I just got my box a couple of days ago. The theme is "fanfare". Not too wowed by the theme, but it's a good variety of samples this month-all in true deluxe size too which is nice.

I actually received the amika Dry Shampoo in a previous box, but I don't mind as I enjoy this little bottle. It will be nice to have another to throw in my bag (or gym bag if I'm feelin' motivated.) ellovi Butter in Vanilla is an all natural lip balm. I have been wanting a heavy duty night lip product for the upcoming colder months, and this warm vanilla scent is just the ticket. I didn't pick a sample from the choices this month, but I ended up getting the Lord & Berry Glitter Black Eyeliner. I'm not much of a pencil liner kinda girl, so I might be giving this to a friend. I love face masks, so I am excited to try the dr. brandt pores no more vacuum cleaner. Sounds intense-just what these pores need. Finally, I got a sample of Benefit's The Porefessional. I have tried this before I started switching to cruelty-free products. It works really well as a primer-I will pass this on to a friend as well.
