Birchbox | September 2014

A very colourful Birchbox this month with the theme of "Fresh Paint."

Box Breakdown
Harvey Prince Ageless Liquid Loofah
Macadamia Healing Oil Spray
Mereadesso All-in-One Moisturizer
Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Honey Nectar
Temptu Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer
ChapStick Hydration Lock Day & Night

A nice variety of products this month! And a pretty box. I choose the Macadamia Healing Oil Spray as my sample for the month. I have heard so much about the brand, so I am excited to try it. I received the Harvey Prince Ageless Lotion last month, so I wasn't that thrilled for the Exfoliating Shower Gel. It's okay, but like the lotion, not amazing. I saw the Mereadesso Moisturizer in the spoiler videos, and it sounds like an interesting product-a toner, serum, moisturizer, eye-cream, primer- all-in-one. Let's see how that works out! Next up, I got the Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Honey Nectar. It's a very pretty nude shade that feels hydrating. I am excited to try this liquid highlighter by Temptu in Champagne Shimmer. The shade looked a little intimidating initially, but it blends out evenly and smoothly. It looks a bit too glittery for everyday, but reflects beautifully for a night out. Though, I love highlighter and will probably rock it day-time. Finally as a Birchbox find, a drugstore discovery, a dual-ended Chapstick was included. I'll be passing this along to a friend as I am not a Pfizer fan.

What did you get in this month's Birchbox? Did you like the patterned box?
