Party, Party

It seems like every weekend this summer I have been celebrating someone's birthday, and my own is almost here too! For my good friend Vanessa's birthday this past Friday, we played vintage video games at Barcade and sang (really, really bad) karaoke at a Japanese Sushi bar. It was truly a hilariously fun evening. For my mani, I used none other than Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday. I mean come on, it's perfect.

I kept it simple with a glitter gradient. I used American Apparel's Peacock for a base. It's a lovely teal that is seriously a one-coater! Next, I used my baby bottle of DL Happy Birthday to make a glitter gradient coming from the base of the nail. Finish it off with a top-coat, and you're ready to party.

Do you theme up your nails for a birthday party?
