It seems like every weekend this summer I have been celebrating someone's birthday, and my own is almost here too! For my good friend Vanessa's birthday this past Friday, we played vintage video games at Barcade and sang (
really, really bad) karaoke at a Japanese Sushi bar. It was truly a hilariously fun evening. For my mani, I used none other than Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday.
I mean come on, it's perfect.
I kept it simple with a glitter gradient. I used
American Apparel's Peacock for a base. It's a lovely teal that is seriously a one-coater! Next, I used my baby bottle of
DL Happy Birthday to make a glitter gradient coming from the base of the nail. Finish it off with a top-coat, and you're ready to party.
Do you theme up your nails for a birthday party?
