Three Summer Loves

I am having a lovely summer so far, even if it has only been a few days (officially anyway). There are a few things that I have been loving, and I just had to share.

Tarte Brazilliance Skin Rejuvenating Maracuja Face & Body Self Tanner
I am a super pale girl. And though I was teased constantly (and still am...), it doesn't really bother me too much. After a self-tanning experience gone awry in high school, I figured there wasn't much to be done. However, self tanners have come a long way since then, and I am loving having a bit of a faux glow. This tanner is so easy, and when applied with a mitt, streak-free. Even on my first attempt at self-tanning in forever,  I only had one obvious spot on my ankle. That's impressive. The formula only needs 10 minutes to dry before you can put on clothes again, and the scent barely there-for a self-tanner. I highly recommend this if you are just starting out with the faux tan & don't forget to pick up a mitt too!

Jewelmint Aurora Necklace
Jewelry is a great way to add interest to an outfit in the summer without adding heat. I have been in love with this necklace for quite a while now, and after it came back from being sold out the second time, I finally gave in. It's the perfect boho piece to add over a summer tee or a maxi dress (I also can't help but picture it in autumn too, over a chunky knit...)

 Celebrate Brooklyn & Prospect Park
Preston and I have been taking advantage of Celebrate Brooklyn this first week of summer. The National was playing, and we decided to picnic out and listen to the show-two days in a row. I love that summers in the city always have a ton of events to go to and things to see. I am hoping the live music+picnic summer nights continue. And I have no doubt as we have tickets to see Neutral Milk Hotel in July, and there are plenty of shows in between.

I have said 'love' a lot. But that makes sense, right?- since it's a post about what I loveeee.

What are your current summer loves?
