This Birchbox couldn't have come at a better time, I needed a little pick-me-up this week. The theme this month is "Go Time." And I am definitely in that mind set. So, let's get to it.
Box Breakdown
Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk
Nail Rock Velvet Burgundy
Grand Central Beauty S.M.A.R.T. Skin Perfecting Polisher
100% Pure Nourishing Body Cream
Ahmad Tea London
I am excited to try everything in this box! With my new short hair, I have been meaning to pick up a bottle of dry shampoo, so testing out the
Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk is perfect. After seeing many sneak peeks featuring the
Nail Rock sets, I was hoping to get one of the kits in my box. I got the
Velvet kit in Burgundy. Love the colour (yup, oxblood.) I don't know how well the application or wear of the 'velvet' will be, but I will be sure to post the results when I test it! Another thing you will know from my posts is my new found love of chemical exfoliators. The
Grand Central Beauty S.M.A.R.T. Skin Perfecting Polisher seems intriguing; it is applied on dry skin before moisturizer and masks and can be used thrice weekly. Next, I got the
100% Pure Coconut Nourishing Body Cream. Despite the unfortunate packaging, I am looking forward to trying this natural, vegan lotion this winter. Coconut body scents are always a winner with me. As my bonus, I received three tea bags from
Ahmad Tea in English Tea No. 1, Apricot Sunrise, and Mint Mystique. I love tea and all these flavours are right up my street. Finally the box came with some super cute motivational cards. I love the graphic design and typography. I already used the Hello 2014 card in my Project Life album.
