David's Tea 24 Days of Tea

Though I love counting down the days 'til Christmas, I have rarely ever had an advent calendar, even the chocolate ones. This might change after discovering the David's Tea 24 Days of Tea calendar. I have a feeling this is going to become a yearly tradition for Preston & me. I am picturing it now- each chilly morning discovering what tea we will start our day with. Plus, trying 24 teas leads to a huge possibility of discovering new favourites. It's the perfect winter treat for tea lovers.

Being my first holiday season as a follower of David's Tea, I was amazed by the demand for this here advent calendar. I first saw a picture posted on their Instagram account, and I definitely wanted to check this out. Upon refreshing the page, I saw comment after comment regarding the online sell out, multiple store trips to find them, and the overall love of the 24 Days of Tea. Luckily for us, Preston was able to pick up one on his lunch break at the 6th Ave, NYC location.

The box includes 24 different 10 gram tins of loose leaf tea. It includes white, green, herbal, rooibos, oolong, black, and pu'erh teas for a varied selection. I love the red, white, and silver foil graphics of the box. One of the trees even has a tea kettle topper. Purely based on the teas (not including the tins or box), I calculated the value to be approximately $41.18. So retailing for $34.50, makes this a great deal! I would have even been okay with a bit of mark-up since there is so much variety and options with the different flavours.

24 Days of Tea is currently sold out online. They are still available in-stores while supplies last! David's Tea is a Canadian company, so there are many locations in Canada, but there are several in the United States as well.

Now, I just have to wait 'til December!

Do you have an advent calendar tradition? What are some unique calendars that you have come across? The beauty options are definitely catching my eye!
