Siberia has a neutral undertone, Mont Blanc has pink undertones, and Gobi has yellow. The texture of the product is whipped, creamy, and super blendable. To apply, I dabbed it on areas of my face and then blended it out using a BeautyBlender. Because I have oily skin, and this is a more hydrating foundation, I used the Pro-Prime sample. Even so, I didn't have any problems with shininess throughout the day and would have probably been fine without it. I tend to wear foundations using a lighter application, but you could definitely build this up. I think this will be a great foundation for fall and winter when you need a little more added hydration. The primer doesn't have the usual silicone texture of typical primers, it feels more like a light moisturizer.
Here are the shades without blending them out. I think I could get away with any of the shades without it being too noticeable. Today, I wore Mont Blanc, which is probably my truest match. Today I paired Mont Blanc with the Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla and found it to be a great face combo. The only thing I am not entirely sold on is the full-size packaging. It's in a compact with one side having the foundation and the other a sponge. I wish they would just have a compact without the added bulk of a sponge side that I will never, ever use. Other than that, the product itself is really lovely!
Check out the Facebook promotion if you are interested in trying a sample! Right now they are on the medium shades, with darker shades to come. You can purchase the Radiant Cream Compact Foundation at Nars or Sephora.
Have you tried this foundation yet? What are your favourite fall & winter foundations?
