The golds are similarly toned, but the Zoya dots have a cool textured finish while the remainder of the design is super glossy under the top coat. The idea to mix the textures came from this tutorial from Chalkboard Nails. I am really loving the navy & gold combination!

Textured Gold Polka Dots Nail Art
I am usually not one for polka dots, but lately I have been gravitating towards this fun print in stationery and home decor. I thought it might be fun to replicate the design on my nails as well. I decided to add a textural element as well. This print feels very Kate Spade to me!
I started with a base of OPI I saw...U saw...We saw...Warsaw. Next, I used my largest size dotting tool to make the gold dots using Milani 3D Holographic 510. I did about three dots per nail randomly scattered, leaving blank space for a couple more dots. Then, I applied my top coat. After this dried, I added a couple of more dots using Zoya PixiDust in Solange.
The golds are similarly toned, but the Zoya dots have a cool textured finish while the remainder of the design is super glossy under the top coat. The idea to mix the textures came from this tutorial from Chalkboard Nails. I am really loving the navy & gold combination!
