Beauty Trend | The 90's Lip

So, I am hearing this is a trend. And though most people are channeling one of the Jenner twin's looks (the only reality TV I don't watch is the Kardashians, so I am a bit out of that loop.), 90s lipstick to me is all about Monica and Rachel... Here are some of my favourite 90's nudes.

NYX Lip Pencil in Ever
My friend sent this to me, and it is indeed the epitome of 90's lip colours. A dark browny nude. I have been applying it all over the lips (after using some balm.)

Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Naked
I am not even sure if they make this line anymore since they released the new Revolution lines. Even so, check Urban Decay for some 90s options (I think they even kept the shade names the same). Though in the swatch it looks more pinky-nude, on me it's definitely leans more brown. It's a bit easier to pull off since it has some gloss to it.

Wet n Wild Bare it All 
This is more nude than the typical brown shade you think of with this trend, so if you are wanting an easy intro, this is a good one-especially at the $2 price point.

Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Musk
After trying the Musk end of the Natural duo from Bite, I instantaneously thought "90s". This is definitely a classic nineties shade.

If you are hardcore looking for the brown nude of the 90s NYX Ever & Bite Beauty Musk are my recs. For just testing out the trend, Urban Decay Naked & Wet n Wild Bare it All are a good intro to the look. I was a bit too young to be wearing this during the time period, but I remember watching so many TV show characters rocking this lip.
