What's in my Work Bag

Over the summer, I shared an updated What's in my Bag post. I love watching the vids and seeing the pics of what people are toting around with them. I have to admit my work bag isn't too much different, until it's stuffed with papers or a laptop. And now there are things I am seeing my last post that I need to put back in here, contact solution and snacks...

First up, the bag. I love my Zara Office City Bag. It's perfect for storing everything including laptop space. I have had this bag for awhile now, and it's holding up strong! Especially considering how much I stuffed this thing during grad school.

As for what's inside-just your typical purse stuff: wallet, iPhone, keys. Plus, some gun, tissues, hand sanitizer and lotion, and some sunglasses (which you can see my reflection in. doh!) For work, I make sure to pack a mini lint roller, flash drive, and my Filofax (+ Sharpie Pen). I recently purchased the Lululemon Vinyasa Scarf and am obsessed. I knew I would be but was surprised that it became a workplace staple. It makes the perfect blanket/impromptu jacket for chilly offices.

Then, of course, I have my handy dandy make-up bag full of essentials. I have actually become known around work as the person to go to if you spill coffee as I always have a few Shout Wipes. Seriously, they are amazing. I also have a variety of band-aids including Despicable Me Minion printed and those special blister ones. Elf translucent powder is great for touch-ups and for the mirror. These cute little woodland nail files are from Bath & Body Works. Marc Jacobs Lola rollerball is there in case I forget to spritz a perfume before I leave (which happens often). And all the lippies. Well, actually this isn't too many compared to last time! I have a Burt's Bees Lip Balm in Vanilla Bean, Bite Beauty Duo in Neutral, and WnW Rose to Fame and Wine Room. All perfect workplace options.

So not too much different than my usual purse items. Less office supplies- I guess now that I can store stationery goods at home & work, I don't need to have them in my purse anymore. By the end of the day, there is an empty Tervis Tumbler from the morning's coffee and the latest am New York with a completed KenKen and half finished crossword...

What are some of your office bag necessities?
