Favourites | May Beauty

Happy June! I can't believe we are basically half-way through 2014! As usual, here are some beauty bits I was loving this past month. Many you have seen before...

So many of these products were gifts from my recent nail mail with my beauty bff (b.b.f.f.?), Annisa. It's so much fun to share and discover new products through swaps with your friends (it's one of ten things I mentioned in this post.) One kind of random beauty product, I have been in love with is the H20 Spa Hand and Cuticle Scrub. The ground pumice stone is super scrubby, I have been using it on my feet too to get pedicure ready for summer. I have still been in love with my Liz Earle skincare that I mentioned in last month's favourites, but I have added a new facial oil to the mix-the tarte Pure Maracuja Oil. For the weekend, I have been sticking with TopShop Macaroon, but during the work week, the Lychee side of the Bite Beauty Lip Duo has been my go-to. I am currently having a moment with Too Faced. Their Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer, Better than Sex Mascara, and Natural Eyes palette are all favourites. Another brand I am quite liking at the moment is Physicians Formula. The Nude Wear line is just perfect-the Rose Blush and Light Powder are so glowy, yet natural. For nails, I loved the pastel shades of Butter London Bossy Boots and Essie Under Where? Finally, another gift from Annisa, the Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral Matte/Shimmer palette. Unfortunately, it was limited edition during the holidays and though I still saw it about a month ago on clearance, it's probably not available anymore. If you have it though, or were curious about Sonia Kashuk eyeshadows, it's amazing quality. Every shade I have randomly picked is gorgeous. The shimmers are definitely shimmers, not satins, and the mattes are great for drugstore pricing. It's made me want to try their other palettes. I always seem to be eying up the 'Fair & Square' quad when I walk down the aisles of Target.

What were some of your beauty favourites this month?
