Valentine's Day Gift Guide

I love Valentine's Day (and I'm not ashamed to admit it.) It's the perfect excuse to go out to dinner, watch movies, and buy cute pink hearted beauty and home accessories. Here is a collection of items that are perfectly themed and definitely on my wishlist (if not already in my favourites.)

And of course, not pictured are dinner and a movie. I guess I am just classic that way. Our plans so far are dinner at Lot 2, my favourite restaurant, followed by all the House of Cards! What's more romantic than political intrigue and backstabbing, right? I tend to opt for smaller gifts on Valentine's. A coffee table book or funny little gift. For this list, I have included some more expensive items as well in case that is more of your price range.

At my top of the wishlist (hint, hint, Preston) are the David's Tea Cherry Blossom Tea and the Lush Love Locket Bath Bomb. I just love how perfectly V-Day themed they are. All the Lush Valentine's Day collection products seem amazing too like the Close to You massage bar and Neon Love soap. And of course, I can't make a wishlist without nail polish. The Ciate Dolls House nail polish collection would make a perfect Valentine's Gift. The pastel shades are perfect for the occasion, and the packaging is adorable. I love the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments. They are the best at combating winter lips. The light pink tint and packaging of Petal would be a cute gift for the holiday. Candles are an obvious choice, but that doesn't make it any less exciting to receive. This Bath & Body Works Cheers to Capri candle is scented as Limoncello which would definitely send my memory back to the gorgeous island of Capri. For a couple of more expensive beauty options, the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is full of romantic, rosey shades and an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder would be the perfect glow for candlelight. Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara is the best named product for a V-day present. Super funny and pink packaging? Sold. This stationery set from Kate Spade is another cheeky gift. I love the blush coloured cards and the gold 'How the Devil are You?' typography. Perfect for all those love letters... Every year Target releases a Valentine's Day home collection, and this year the mugs might be my favourite yet. I picked up the 'I love you a latte' and the cat 'You're Purrfect!' one. Super cute and an affordable option as a gift for a few of your friends.

Hope this gave you some ideas for gifts! Many of these items have been on my wishlist for awhile, so I might end up using Valentine's Day as an excuse to treat myself. And I highly encourage you to do so too. No matter what your relationship status.

What are some V-Day items on your wishlist?
