Birchbox | February 2014

This month's Birchbox is a collaboration with US Weekly. The theme is 'Step & Repeat' a reference to posing on the red carpet during award season.

Box Breakdown
DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew
100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Mascara Black Tea
Coola Tinted Matte SPF 30 for Face
Agave Healing Oil Treatment
Harvey Prince Hello

I am excited to try the 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Mascara. I received their body lotion in a previous box and really enjoyed it, so I'm happy to try more from the brand. The shade is Black Tea Ultra Lengthening which sounds perfect to me. Another brand I have tried a few products from is Coola. I have liked the Cucumber and Unscented sunscreen samples I have tried before, so again, happy to try this tinted version. Hopefully, it's the right shade! I liked the apple notes of the Harvey Prince Skinny fragrance, so (again, again) will try the citrus Happy scent. Didn't realize I have tried so many of these brands! Though the Agave Healing Oil Treatment is a small size, I have been beauty oil obsessed and plan to use this up quick. Finally, I received the DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew. The size makes it a really great value in this box; however, I don't use DDF products due to their animal testing policies, which is rather unfortunate seeing as I am in the market for a moisturizer.

Overall, not a bad box! I do wish there were a few new brands to try, but I am happy to have received the 100% Pure mascara this month. I was hoping that US Weekly would offer a free subscription like the Women's Health box did. Though, I probably don't need anymore free magazine subscriptions....
