Winter Nails | Pastel Trend

Pastels used to be a colour group only reserved for spring, but lately pastels have been appearing as the "it" colours for winter. Now, I don't think I could rock the pink winter coat (every fashion bloggers must-have this season), but I could manage incorporating these trendy hues on my nails.

Julep Shenae A mint green with an opalescent shimmer.
Julep Simone Lilac with opalescent shimmer.
Butter London Fruit Machine A bright, light cool-toned pink.
OPI You're Such a Budapest Lavender with subtle shimmers.
OPI Can't Find My Czechbook A slightly gray-toned light blue creme.
Zoya Dove A light gray creme.
Zoya Jacqueline An off-white creme.
Color Club Mod in Manhattan A bright ivory creme.
Zoya PixieDust Stevie A light purple textured polish with silver sparkles.
Zoya PixieDust London A gray textured polish with silver sparkles.
Zoya Neely A light sage green creme.

Though pastels conjure up images of spring flowers, I see how pastels would work perfectly with the white skies and snow. Plus, the cheery shades can offer a pick-me-up on bleaker days. To keep it from looking to "spring/summer",  I would opt for cooler toned pastels, rather than yellows, oranges, and corals.

What do you think of the pastels for winter trend?
