Mixed Neutrals Nail Art

I have been loving neutral nail polish lately, contrary to my usual bright polish obsession during the hot summer months. This nail art idea came to mind one evening, and I just had bring it to reality. I love the neutrals with a touch of metallic. It gives me the impression of comfortable elegance, like a cashmere sweater or knitted throw.

I started with two coats of Zoya Jacqueline, an off-white creme. Next, I painted the top half of my nail with Zoya Dove, a light gray creme, in a triangle shape. Finally, using a long striper nail art brush, I painted a V where the two previous colours met with Sinful Colors Super Nova, a metallic rose gold.
I love this twist on neutrals by combining different finishes and using geometric shapes. I will definitely be repeating this manicure again.  It is a simple design that would look great in other colour combinations, though, for the moment, I am partial to the neutrals.
