(MALIN + GOETZ) | cilantro hair conditioner
Hail Merry | Chocolate Macaroons
I am so happy with this month's box! I am excited to try the (MALIN + GOETZ) cilantro hair conditioner. Initially, I was wary that it would actually smell like cilantro (which I love as a food ingredient but would not want my hair to smell as such). However, it is very fresh, clean scent. The 1 oz. size makes it perfect to pack for my upcoming trip to Portland. I have also been interested in delving into the eye cream world so this sample of Caudalie SOS Morning Eye Rescue will be a great first introduction to the product. Teeny size but it should be several uses since it's just for the eye area. The Herban Essentials Towelettes are super cute. Another travel-friendly item. I like that they included a couple: peppermint & yoga. The yoga one is lavender, and I love the idea of using it to clean your hands, feet, and yoga mat!
Super excited about the Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lipstick! I have been really wanting to diversify my lip colours, but I find lipstick to be so tricky. I hate having to constantly be concerned about reapplying, feathering, or having lipstick on my teeth. Pencil form definitely makes application easier. The shade I received was 7. Quick Kiss, an amazing red-orange with a super glossy finish. The size is quite misleading (what you see there is what you get, no retraction), but I guess having a longer handle will make it easier to use.
Finally, as a lifestyle extra, I received Chocolate Macaroons by Hail Merry. Gluten-free, vegan, pure ingredients, chocolate, coconut....what's not to love. Super delicious. Additionally, the box came with a bonus offer for a free year of Women's Health magazine. It looks like there are no strings attached, so I will definitely redeem this offer.
So that was my April 2013 Birchbox! I am really excited to try everything. What did you get in your BB?
