I love the Band-Aids and the Eyeko liner! The eye liner is really pretty and makes super sharp lines! I know I will be wearing that a lot. I have green eyes so that purple is going to definitely make them look super bright. Even though it's purple, it still looks very wearable! I just ran out of my Hello Kitty Band-Aids & am happy to have these serve as a replacement! Both of these were full-size products too! Just with that my box has paid for itself over two-fold!
I am also super excited to try out the lip/cheek stain. That is one product I have been wanting to try but didn't want to spend on a full-size product without testing the waters first. It is a very pretty colour that I think would look great with all skin types.
The Rose Water smells nice & is really refreshing. I am not a big floral person but it is very light & I think it will be great to have in my bag for an instant refresh at the beach or after summer walks in the city or park. The Yu-Be moisturizer is a very small tube and seemed more like a throw-away sample to me. I haven't tried it yet though. Also the men's cologne was nothing special. I gave it to Preston, and it will probably last him forever since he never wears cologne. At least he now has something for special occasions.
Of course after getting my box, I wanted to see what everyone else got. While searching, I saw that Birchbox was doing a contest on Pinterest. To enter, you pin a picture of your nails with a Band-Aid. The prize is 10 nail polishes & the Cynthia Rowley Band-Aid Set. I figure since I got the Band-Aids & I love nail art, I would submit an entry. (I also saw the Cynthia Rowley water-proof Band-Aids have a seahorse print! Want!)
My entry is inspired by the Sequin Motif Band-Aid! I am really happy with how it turned out!
How do you feel about subscription services? I hear a lot of mixed results. I figure I spend $10 a month on random stuff anyway so why not! Today, I subscribed to another site, Julep Maven, because they have a 1 cent for your first box special. I am excited to get my first box, but I am unsure if I will keep resubscribing. To me, $20 a month is more of a commitment, and it is only that one brand...I do love nail polish though ;]
To get your Julep Maven intro box for 1 cent, you can use the promo code COLORS4ONE or PENNY.
